Forum Advokater is a law firm situated in Roskilde – only 35 kilometres (approx. 22 miles ) from central Copenhagen. The firm is organised as a limited liability partnership (LLP). With a total staff of more than 50 of which 19 are lawyers we provide a wide range of specialised consultancy services to both Danish and foreign clients.
We have made a conscious decision to be in valuable co-operator in an ever more globalised world. Consequently, our lawyers and paralegals are competent to cover all significant areas of practice in Denmark, but more importantly, we also have a number of lawyers who have specialised skills covering several foreign countries and international areas of practice. These lawyers master the language of the country in which they specialise, and some of them are even authorised to practise as lawyers in those countries.
We are organised in four main groups:

- Debt Collection & Recovery
- Family Law
- Real Estate & Conveyancing
Our Corporate & Commercial group is our largest. We offer specialised and tailored services to meet the specific needs of our clients, covering all commercial and corporate issues including M&A work and litigation. We emphasise the value of close and lasting relations with our clients to add practicability and efficiency to our legal advice. Our Real Estate & Conveyancing group offers advice and support on corporate as well as residential matters.
Our Family Law group offers advice and services on all matters ranging from family law litigation to contracts estate planning and estate work, child custody and separation- and divorce work. It boasts some of the most specialised and experienced family law lawyers in the country and is one of the largest groups of its sort in the country.
Our Debt Collection & Recovery group is highly specialised within their field, and we have more than 30 years of experience collecting claims outstanding both here in Denmark and abroad, and the department is top-of-the-line when it comes to use of modern technology, supply of services, seminars, and customised consultancy. International qualifications
Our international orientation is based on the qualifications of our lawyers working with international areas of practice and the networks they have built up. If we are to provide our clients with a satisfactory service abroad we feel we need to collaborate with partners in the countries concerned who we know personally, and who have shown us that we may trust them.
Consequently, the basis of our international network is that our international lawyers - through education and stays abroad as well as international consultancy work and legal proceedings - have gained a personal relationship of trust with chosen individuals who practice law in the countries of significance to our clients and in countries where we have found it natural to have a close collaboration in view of the possibilities of investment, company formation and outsourcing. This network ensures personal and relevant consultancy services of top quality at the right price.
The network ensures the quality of the work carried out in countries like Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Spain, and Sweden.
In addition, we are a member of the CICERO League of International Lawyers. The CICERO League of International Lawyers is an international network of independent law firms. At present the network covers 24 countries. There is only one member from each country, and the membership group includes significant and highly respected law firms in Europe, the Middle East, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. A list of the countries in which we are represented through CICERO may be found in the right column.
The head of our International Department is Flemming Keller Hendriksen, attorney-at-law/solicitor, see above.
